WINAMAC - Michael David Cardwell, 59, of Winamac, passed away at 4:12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, at his home in Winamac.

He was born Sept. 13, 1956, in Merrillville, to Elmer and Patricia Mayfield Cardwell.

Megan Renee (Agim) Dupi, Indianapolis, Daughter
Nicholas Michael (Angela) Cardwell, Anderson, Son
Lydia Marie Cardwell, Granddaughter
Adelaine Drita Dupi, Granddaughter
Anjeza Arlene Dupi, Granddaughter
Patricia Sue Mayfield Cardwell, Winamac, Mother
Brian (Janet) Cardwell, Kouts, Brother
Brett Cardwell, Winamac, Brother
Several Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by:
Elmer Clyde Cardwell, Father

Mr. Cardwell was a welder, machinist and boilermaker. He also did private construction in Lake County. He also worked in computer graphics. He was a member of the boilermakers union in Lake County. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing darts, pool and recreational shooting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary, Winamac.
