Marjorie A. Scheffer
February 11, 1931 to September 2, 2015
WINAMAC - Marjorie A. Scheffer, 84, of Monterey, passed away at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 2, at her home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1931 in rural Star City, to the late John and Ranna M. Roberts Murphy. On May 8, 1948, she married Bernard Arden Scheffer in Star City. He passed away June 16, 1999.

Mrs. Scheffer was retired from GenCorp in Logansport, after 30 years. She was a member of the local Steel Workers Union. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in North Webster. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially flowers, gardening, mushroom hunting and camping. She loved her dog, Chloe very much. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m., (Wednesday, Sept. 9), at Frain Mortuary with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Private entombment will be at a later date in Star City West Cemetery, Star City.
Memorial donations may be given to The American Cancer Society in memory of Marjorie's daughter Terry Rogers.
