WINAMAC - Betty L. Colgrove, 76, Winamac, passed away at 7:15 p.m.,Thursday, July 9, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She was born April 26, 1939, in Winamac, to the late Leo M. and Marie E. Scheffer Weisenburger. She married Garry D. Colgrove on June 14, 1958, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac. He passed away Nov. 12, 2011.

Mrs. Colgrove and her husband were the former owners of Hank's Tire Service and the Pizza Haus in Winamac. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. She was retired from Eaton-Controls, Winamac. She also was a former advertising executive for the Pulaski County Journal & Independent. She enjoyed her weekly dinners with her granddaughters. She loved spending time with her family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. (Friday, July 17), at the funeral home with Donald Norrick officiating. 

Memorial donations may be given to the Lupus Foundation.
