MEDARYVILLE - Kevin Paul Owens, 66, of Medaryville, passed away at 10:13 a.m.,Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

He was born Feb. 2, 1949 in Rensselaer, to the late James Omer Owens and Beatrice Owens (Howe).

Mr. Owens graduated from Medaryville High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman in Panama. He was a member of the Medaryville American Legion Post #96. He worked most of his life as a welder and was retired from Metal Fab Engineering in Winamac. He was an avid gardener. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling, attending festivals, and flying RC Airplanes. He was a member of Winamac Aero Modelers. He loved his family very much and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 2, at the funeral home with Pastor James Ketchen officiating. Burial will take place in White Post Cemetery, Medaryville. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services. 

Memorial donations may be given to Medaryville American Legion Post #96 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
