Olive May Master

September 22, 1928 to February 14, 2015

WINAMAC - Olive May Master, 86, of Winamac, passed away at 5:47 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Hendricks Regional Health Hospital, Danville, IN.

She was born Sept. 22, 1928, in Winamac, to the late Walter Lloyd and Cora E. Warmbrod Peters. She married Earl Robert Master on Feb. 20, 1949 at Lake Bruce. Earl died March 4, 1974.

Mrs. Maser was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist and the Circle of Love. She was a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star 96 in Winamac. She was a bookkeeper for Buckeye Elevator in Monterey for many years. She was also a former teller at the First National Bank in Monterey. She enjoyed playing Bunco, cooking and farming. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac; and one prior to services at the church on Thursday. An OES service will begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 19, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Lake Bruce. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lake Bruce.
