Marguerite O. Wiebusch

WINAMAC - Marguerite O. Wiebusch, 88, of Burlington, died at 1:40 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo.
She was born Oct. 10, 1926, in Winamac, to the late Ira and Caroline Traver Kersey. She married Richard A. Wiebusch on Feb. 22, 1964 in Aurora, IL. He died Dec. 22, 2011.

Mrs. Wiebusch was a charter member of the American Quilters Society, the American Quilt Study Group and the National Quilting Association. She was an NQA master judge. She was a board member of the Indiana Quilt Registry Project. She served as documentation chair of the IQRP. She co-authored their book "Quilts of Indiana." She also published four books of original quilting designs. She was a member of the Quilters Guild of Indianapolis and the Kokomo Piecemakers Guild. She also had a passion for photography.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Wednesday, Dec. 17), at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donations may be given to Guardian Angel Hospice Kokomo.
