Vaughn E. Thompson
March 17, 1926 to November 20, 2014
WINAMAC - Vaughn Edward "Ed" Thompson, 88, of Francesville, (formerly of Pulaski) passed away at 9:18 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
He was born March 17, 1926 to the late William C. and Nancy Ellen Adams Thompson. On May 19, 1946, he married Ruth I. Pannell. She passed away June 23, 1965. He then married Joyce A. Kennedy on Nov. 5, 1966. She passed away Sept. 15, 2004.

Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a body repairman at Shepherd's Chevrolet in Winamac for many years. He enjoyed living on the Tippecanoe River. He enjoyed, yardwork, reading, playing euchre, and doing crossword puzzles. Whether it was watching games or reading magazines, football was his passion. He loved his family and friends very much. He will be dearly missed.
