WINAMAC - Robert L. Poor, 79, of 480 E. 13th St., Winamac, passed away at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, in the Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.

He was born May 31, 1930, in Winamac, to Harry and Geraldine Trapp Poor. He married Maitlyn C. Holt on March 4, 1954, in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Poor was a member of the Winamac First United Methodist Church.He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1985 as a mail carrier.

Friends may call after 1 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m., (Friday, March 5), at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin DeKoninck officiating.
