November 19, 1950 to November 7, 2014

MEDARYVILLE - Larry Dean Payne, 63, Medaryville, passed away at 4 a.m., Friday, Nov. 7, at his residence in Medaryville. He passed away peacefully in his sleep after fighting a strong battle with cancer.

He was born on Nov. 19, 1950 in Rensselaer, to the late Byram Robert and Veda Jeanette Spencer Payne.

Grandchildren Alex Fischer, Jacob Messer, Lexi Messer, Brett Sheffer, Summer Sheffer, Clinton Johns, 
Clayton Kelly, and Keira Kelly.

Mr. Payne was employed at ArcelorMittal (formerly Bethlehem Steel) as an overhead crane operator for 42 years. He was a member of Steel Workers Local #6787. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, and spending time with his friends and family. He was fondly known as "Paynezo" to many in the community. He will be dearly missed. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m., Monday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville; and one hour prior to services Tuesday. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11,  at the funeral home with Pastor James Richie officiating. Burial will be at White Post Cemetery, Medaryville.
