Mrs. Strus-Logan was the valedictorian of Francesville High School Class of 1946. She was a member of St. Francis of Solano Catholic Church in Francesville. She enjoyed going to Florida and showing off her flowers, whether real or made out of sea shells. She was a member of the Bonita Springs Shell Club, where she won many awards. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She was looking forward to the birth of Missy's baby in February. She worked hard all of her life. She had worked as a telephone operator, as a bookkeeper for Von Tobel Lumber, and side-by-side with Stanley on the farm. Maybe now she can get the rest she so deserves.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The scriptural wake service will be at 4 p.m., and the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11,  at St. Francis of Solano Catholic Church, Francesville, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Francis of Solano Catholic Church.
