Robert E. Fisher

April 28, 1940 to October 24, 2014

WINAMAC - Robert "Bob" E. Fisher, 74, Winamac, passed away at 1:38 a.m., Friday, Oct. 24, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, with his children and grandchildren by his side.

He was born April 28, 1940, in Winamac, to the late Donald L. and Harvene Swigart Boos Fisher. He married Dora M. Meyer on June 10, 1961, in Pulaski. She passed away on July 15, 2012.

Ed (Reine) Fisher, Elkhart, Son 
Kenny (Debbie) Fisher, Winamac, Son 
Tara (Todd) Anglemeyer, Granddaughter 
Megan Fisher, Granddaughter 
Kenzie Fisher, Granddaughter 

Also preceded in death by: 
Donald R. Fisher, Brother 
Arlene Fisher, Sister 

Mr. Fisher lived in Pulaski County all of his life. He retired from the Pulaski County Highway Department. He also owned and operated Bob's Trucking. He was longtime member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Winamac. He enjoyed driving around in his golf cart through the woods, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.He will be remembered as a simple, kind, loving man who would literally do anything for anyone. He spoke his own language, and he loved his three granddaughters, Kenzie, Megan, and Tara, more than life itself.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct, 27, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery West, Pulaski. 

Memorial donations may be given to American Heart Association.
