Clement F. Good

September 29, 1920 to August 11, 2014

KEWANNA - Clement F. Good, 93, of Kewanna passed away at 4:27 a.m., Monday, Aug.11, at Pulaski Healthcare Center, Winamac.

Born on Sept. 29, 1920 in Farmers City, Ill., he was the son of the late Ray and Goldie (Sparrow) Good. On Feb. 23, 1946 he married Mildred Phillips. She preceded him in death on June 30, 2005.

Survivors include his sons, Marvin Good of Kewanna and Gordon Good (Bonnie) of Rochester, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Lela May Clark and Jean Ann Phillips and also one great grandson.

Mr. Good was a Winamac High School graduate and a World Ware II U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European Theater with the 80th Blue Ridge Artillery. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Kewanna Church of Christ where he served as an Elder and song leader. He was also a member of American Legion Post #130 and Boy Scouts of America Sagamore Council. He enjoyed riding horses, camping, fishing and later in life, bicycling.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday (Aug. 15), at the funeral home with Pastor Aaron McCombs officiating. Burial with military rites will be performed at Moon Cemetery, Kewanna.
