Ora R. Baker

February 8, 1925 to August 7, 2014

MEDARYVILLE - Ora R. Baker, 89, of Medaryville, died 12:50 p.m Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

He was born Feb. 8, 1925 in Liberty Township, White County, to the late George Ray and Turrissie Rex Baker. On June 19, 1948, he married Alberta S. Rhode in Medaryville. She survives.

Mr. Baker served in the US Army during World War II with 101st Airborne Medical Company. He was a member of the Medaryville American Legion Post #96. He was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church. He had worked 33 years at Thermo Products in North Judson.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville. The funeral ervice will follow at 11 a.m. (Tuesday, Aug. 12), at the funeral home with Don Nedza officiating. Burial will be at White Post Cemetery, Medaryville. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial donations may be given to Medaryville Christian Church.
