Dr. Thomas G. Drach

WINAMAC - Dr. Thomas G. Drach, D.C., 51, of 301 N. Riverside Drive, Winamac, passed away at 7:50 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, at 952 E 250 N, Winamac.

He was born May 31, 1959, in Rochester, to Bob and Joan Benbow Drach. He married Joyce Huffman on July 28, 1984, in Lewisville. She survives.

Dr. Drach was a graduate of Winamac High School in the class of 1977. While in high school, he obtained the Eagle Scout Award, the Order of the Arrow in Scouting and a varsity letter for wrestling. He was also a member of the Order of DeMolay. He graduated from Ball State University in 1982 with a four-year degree in the school of nursing. After practicing nursing for over 21 years, he went to Parker College of Chiropratic in Dallas, Texas, where he received his doctoral degree. In 2005 he returned to Winamac and opened Drach Chiropractic.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday (Nov. 4), at the funeral home, with Pastor John Duhnovsky officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization (IOPO) or the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
