FRANCESVILLE - Ronald L. "Ronnie" Osburn, 65, Francesville, passed away at 3:14 p.m., Monday, June 16, at IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born on Jan. 13, 1949 in Lafayette to the late Roy and Dorothy M. Getz Osburn. 

Survivors include: 
Larry (Nancy) Osburn, Brother 
Douglas Osburn, Nephew 
Andrew Osburn, Nephew 

Preceded in death by: 
Richard Lee Osburn, Infant Brother 
Judith Ann Osburn, Infant Sister 

Mr. Osburn was a graduate of Francesville High School. After high school, he received training in grounds-keeping and worked as a golf course superintendent. He was the owner and operator of Turf RX in Francesville. He enjoyed gardening, canning, and working with plants and trees. He also enjoyed hogs and horses as well as helping farmers. He attended the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville. He could often be found driving around town with his dog Suds, looking for a good conversation. He was a friend to many and will be missed those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Thursday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel-Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., (Thursday, June 19), at the funeral home with Randy Gudeman officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.

Memorial donations may be given to the funeral home.
