Bernice M. Rose

January 18, 1932 to April 21, 2014

WINAMAC - Bernice M. Rose, 82, of Winamac, passed away at 6:58 a.m., Monday, April 21, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

She was born Jan. 18, 1932, in Francesville, to the late Carl and Tena Kruger Garling. She married Charles A. Rose Sr. on Oct. 28, 1950 in Francesville. He survives.

She was preceded in death by:

Mrs. Rose was a member St. James Salem United Church of Christ in Francesville, and the Ladies Guild of the church. She was known for her pie baking. She enjoyed quilting, playing cards, growing flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday (April 24), at the funeral home with Pastor T.J. Jenney officiating. Burial will be at St. James-Salem Cemetery, Francesville.

Memorial donations may be given to St. James Salem Church of Christ Endowment Fund at the Pulaski County Community Foundation.
