Doris A. Thompson
July 6, 1946 to November 19, 2013
WINAMAC - Doris A. Thompson, 67, of Winamac, (formerly of Monon) died at 10:40 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born July 6, 1946 in Rensselaer, to the late Clarence and Irene Lewellen Allen. On April 11, 1966, she married Wilbur E. "Red" Thompson in Lakeland, FL. He passed away July 27, 2013.

Wynona (Joseph) Hadyen, Granddaughter
Jim Allen, Monon, Brother
Patricia (Bill) Bell, Yeoman, Sister

Joshua Marion Thompson, Son
Mrs. Thompson was a longtime resident of White County. She had worked as a nurse's aide for 20 years in Wolcott. She also had worked in the deli at Walmart in Monticello. She retired in 2010. She was a member of Calvary Temple Church of Monticello, and she was currently attending Calvary Baptist Church of Winamac. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Cindy. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday (Nov. 23), at the funeral home with Pastor David Norris officiating. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery, Monon
