Larry Dollahan

February 23, 1938 to September 30, 2013

WINAMAC - Larry L. "Woody" Dollahan, 75, Monterey, passed away at 6:10 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.

He was born Feb. 23, 1938, in Knox, to the late Richard and Mary Jane Scott Dollahan. He married Mary Jane Long on March 3, 1956, at Bass Lake. She passed away on Oct. 12, 2004.

Mr. Dollahan was a former member of the Mounted Posse for the Pulaski County Sherrif's Department several years ago. He was a retired lather in the construction industry and had been a member of the Lathers Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and just about anything outdoors. He loved to Karoke and was known as Woody Nelson because he enjoyed singing Hank Williams songs. He was involved in many adventures during his lifetime including raising horses, cattle and hogs. He bred coon dogs for sale, and enjoyed training them to hunt. He formerly farmed and owned a grocery store (Spunky's Place) with his wife.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday (Oct. 4), at the funeral home, with Laura Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.
