MEDARYVILLE - Bruce Whitaker, 49, of Winamac, passed away at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, in Rensselaer.

He was born Aug. 24, 1964, in Rensselaer, to Joseph and Edna Patton Whitaker.

Survivors include:
Edna Carol Patton Anderson, Winamac, Mother
Dennis Whitaker, SC, Brother
Kalvin Whitaker, Winamac, Brother
Michael Watson, Winamac, Brother
Matthew Watson, Knox, Brother
Several Nieces & Nephews
6 aunts and 1 Uncle

He was preceded in death by:
Joseph Whitaker, Father
1 Aunt and 1 Uncle and 1 Niece

Mr. Whitaker had worked at Monon Trailer for several years. He enjoyed auto racing and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especialy his mother.

Visitation will be from 10  to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Goodway Baptist Church, Medaryville. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. (Wednesday, Aug.28), at the church, with Pastor James Rowe officiating. Private burial will be at Independence Cemetery, Medaryville.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville.
