WINAMAC - Zale Devon DuBois Jr., 61, Winamac, passed away at 8:18 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 14, in Starke County .

He was born Oct. 2, 1951, in Winamac, to Zale and Leanna Rupright DuBois Sr. He married Katherine A. Zickmund on July 29, 1972 in Rensselaer. She survives.

Terry (Stan) Tucker, MO, Sister

He was preceded in death by:
Zale Devon DuBois Sr., Father
Peggy DuBois, Sister

Mr. DuBois was a shop manager in the service department at several local car dealerships. He graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 1994. He was a retired Pulaski County police officer. After retiring from the county police, he worked at GalFab in Winamac. He enjoyed all forms of racing. He enjoyed anything to do with cars. He enjoyed helping the people of Pulaski County when serving as a police officer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Sunday,  at First Baptist Church, Winamac. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m., (Sunday, Aug. 18), at the church with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating.
