FRANCESVILLE - Hargis "Junior" Hopkins, 79, of Francesville, passed away at 4:51 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville.

He was born May 1, 1934 in Magoffin Co., KY to the late Myrtle Allen and Hargis Hopkins Sr. On Sept. 18, 1954, he married Eliza M. Harris at Bailey's Corner Church. They were married 58 years. She survives.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., (Friday, Aug. 16), at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Gutwein officiating.
