Eugene V. Huber

FRANCESVILLE - Eugene V. Huber, 94, of Kouts (formerly of Francesville) passed away at 9:50 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at his at his daughter's residence in Kouts.

He was born on July 15, 1919 in Remington, to the late Louis and Lena Scheiler Huber. On July 13, 1941, he married Mildred E. Wuethrich. She passed away June 16, 2001.

Mr. Huber served as a medic in the U.S. Army overseas during World War II. He was a member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church. He was a spiritual mentor who inspired others with his positive outlook on life. He had the gift of helping people. His life exemplified a steadfast faith in Jesus Christ. He was a farmer and an entrepreneur. He enjoyed camping, cooking, traveling, and woodworking. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville; and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. the funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday (July 22), at the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville, with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.

Memorial donations may be given to the Apostolic Christian World Relief Haiti Fund.
