WINAMAC -  Phyllis T. Foerg, 80, Star City, passed away at 5:53 p.m., Monday, April 1,  at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.

She was born March 21, 1933, in Headlee, IN, to the late Isadore V. and Gloria Snow Roth. She married Richard J. "Bosco" Foerg on Sept. 26, 1953, in Pulaski. He passed away on Feb. 14, 2005.

Mrs. Foerg was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski, and the Christian Mothers. She served for many years as the church organist and served in many capacities with the church. She enjoyed basket making, sewing, painting, woodcrafts, doll houses, gardening, fishing, birdwatching, and baking. She used to attend craft shows around the area as a vendor selling her crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to volunteer with the Cass County Mental Health Association.

Friends may call from  4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Frain Mortuary. A scriptural wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a,n,m Friday (April 5), at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski, with Rev. Ronald Schiml and Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery South, Pulaski.

Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
