Helen M. Stigall

WINAMAC - Helen Mae Stigall, 91, of Winamac, passed away at 1:45 p.m., Sunday, March 31, in Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village, DeMotte.
She was born May 2, 1921, in Hammond, to the late Lee and Lily Cloud Goble. She married Maynard Lee Pittser. He passed away in February 1946. She was then married on Dec. 29, 1951, in Hammond, to Kenneth Fount Stigall. He passed away on Nov. 29, 2010.

Mrs. Stigall was a former resident of Hammond where she was a member of the Hammond First Church of the Nazarene. She was also a member of the Winamac Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxillary and volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital. She was very committed to helping others. She loved her God and was a committed wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. While residing in Hammond, she worked for Fuller Brush Co. and had been a Union Meat Cutter for Howard's and Sons Meats.
Friends may call after 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Wednesday, April 3), at the funeral home, with Rev. Gregory Chambers officiating. Private burial will be in Paul's Chapel Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donations may be given to Oak Grove Christian Retirment Village.
