Richard Wuethrich
October 3, 1932 to March 11, 2013
FRANCESVILLE - Richard Joe "Rich" Weuthrich, 80, of Francesville, passed away at 10:20 p.m., Monday, March 11, surrounded by his family at Hospice House in Ft. Myers, FL, after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1932 at the family home in rural Jasper County,to the late Christian and Barbara Pelsy Wuethrich. He married Nola Ward on May 25, 1952 in Francesville. She survives.

Mr. Wuethrich graduated from Francesville High School in 1950. He was a life-long farmer in the Francesville area. Farming was a tremendous joy to him. Rich served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. At the age of 15, he recognized his need for a Savior and was baptized at the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville, where he remained a life long member. He and his wife raised their family on the family farm west of Francesville. They spent 25 years living on Lake Schafer in Monticello, before moving back to Francesville. Mr. Wuethrich was a tender loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a compassion for lost souls and a special caring spirit for his family and all those who touched his life. He will be dearly missed
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville; and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday (March 18), at the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville, with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
Memorial donations may be given to the Apostolic Christian Church World Relief Haiti or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
