Danny Lee Overmyer
February 6, 1940 to February 17, 2013
FRANCESVILLE - Danny Lee Overmyer, 73, Francesville, passed away unexpectedly at 8:26 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 17, at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.
He was born Feb. 6, 1940 in Francesville to the late Henry Lee and Velda Wuethrich Overmyer. He married Carol Finch on Feb. 15, 1959 at the home of his parents in Francesville. They recently celebrated 54 years of marriage. She survives.

Mr. Overmyer graduated from Francesville High School in 1958. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville. From a very young age, he farmed with his grandfather, father, brothers, and uncles and was instrumental in the growth of Overmyer Farms, Inc. He went on to form the D.L. Overmyer Co. with his four sons, which specialized in growing potatos, mint, and small grains. He enjoyed working with balsa wood World War II scale airplanes. He enjoyed spending time with wife and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville, and one hour before the services at the church. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday (Feb. 20), at the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville, with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
Memorial donaions may be given to Parkview Haven Retirement Home.
