June 24, 1935 to January 23, 2013

MONON - Demaris Koebcke, 77, of Francesville, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at IU Health Hospital of Lafayette.

She was born June 24, 1935 in Francesville to the late Forest and Opal Bailey. Her marriage was to Willard Koebcke on Dec. 31, 1951 in Jeffersonville. He survives.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters; Jackye (Blaine) Hites of Olney, IL and Ellen (Harvey) Gutwein of Francesville and one sister; Janelle Tiede of Francesville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Nicole (Robert) Schwartz of Peru, Holly (Shannon) Blank of Olney, IL, Heather (Kevin) Cox of Munster, Summer (Karl) Schippert of Evansville, Stuart (Alivia) Gutwein of Lafayette, Lance (Erica) and Tyler (Lacie) Gutwein both of Francesville and eighteen grandchildren.

Mrs. Koebcke  was a member of the First Christian Church of Francesville.

Friends may call one hour prior to her memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 26), at the First Christian Church of Francesville with Pastor Jim Ketchen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First Christian Church of Francesville or the American Heart Association.
