Zale D. DuBois
October 21, 1924 to January 29, 2013
WINAMAC - Zale D. DuBois, Sr., 88, of Rochester, formerly of Winamac, passed away at 11:02 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Life Care Center Of Rochester.
He was born Oct. 21, 1924, in Mishawaka, to the late Clyde and Tressa Vanetta Wiler DuBois. He married Leanna M. "Pete" Rupright on Sept. 6, 1946 in Mishawaka. She survives.

Mr. DuBois was service manager at Sheppard's Chevrolet in Winamac for 23 years. He then retired and moved to New Mexico where he ran King Zale Mobile Home Service. He moved back to Winamac in 1990. His last employer was Rife Heavy Duty Equipment in Winamac. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post #1728 in Winamac. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and traveling. He loved his children and grandchildren very much.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday (Feb.1), at the funeral home with Pastor Harold Leininger II officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac. The VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside services.
Memorial donations may be given to the Life Care Center of Rochester.
