Karen L. Lawson
September 25, 1938 to December 15, 2012
WINAMAC - Karen L. Lawson, 74, of Monticello, formerly of Winamac, died at 4:44 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Elizabeth Hospital East in Lafayette.
She was born Sept. 25, 1938, in Winamac, to the late Walter Rollo and Alice Louise Cramer Riffil. She married JR Lawson on Sept. 27, 1984, in Winamac. He survives.

She was an active member of the American Registered Radiologic Technologist Association Registery and American Society of Radiologic Technologist. She enjoyed taking care of her patients and had a special love for helping people. Her favorite pasttimes were watching birds and spending time with her family. She was an avid Indiana University basketball fan and rarely missed a game. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Private family visitation will be Thursday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A private family graveside service will follow (Thursday, Dec. 20), at McKinley Memorial Gardens, Winamac, with Pastor Jim Howard officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac
