George Moise
June 17, 1931 to November 11, 2012
WINAMAC - George R. Moise, 81, of Winamac, passed away at 10:25 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, in Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
He was born June 17, 1931, in Winamac, to the Hurbert and Margaret Winters Moise. He married Shelby J. Hale on Nov. 28, 1964, in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Moise was a lifetime resident of Winamac. Following high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He was the former owner of the Standard Oil Station in Winamac. He was also a retired laborer and driver for the Pulaski County Highway Department. He was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac. He also served as the janitor at the church for many years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #1728, Winamac, and served as a volunteer fireman for the Winamac Volunteer Fire Department for 43 years. He was a collector of baseball cards and memorabelia, coins and stamps. He also had been a little league baseball coach.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday (Nov. 15), at the funeral home with David Broad officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac. The VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside services.
