Roger Goble

May 14, 1962 to July 10, 2012

WINAMAC - Roger Goble, 50, Star City, passed away at 7:15 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, in Porter Regional Hospital, Valparaiso.

He was born May 14, 1962, in Logansport to Tom and Patricia Crist Goble.

Rochelle M. Goble, Mesa, AZ, Sister
Richard E. Goble, Star City, Brother
Randall J. (Billie) Goble, Star City, Brother

Mr. Goble graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1981. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1982-85. He was stationed in Hondurous for 11 months. He attended Indiana State University following his discharge from the Army, receiving an associate degree. He was employed at Tyson's in Logansport. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski. He enjoyed working on the farm and helping with odd jobs for his father.

The family wishes to thank Seton Specialty Hospital, Lafayette, R.I.C. Rehabilitation Hospial, Chicago, and Valparaiso Care and Rehabilitation Center, Valparaiso, for the care shown to Roger following his accident. The family also wishes to thank family and friends for all of the love and support given to them.

Friends may call from 4 to  8 p.m., Thursday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac.The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday (July 13), at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski, with Rev. Ronald Schiml officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery South, Pulaski.
