Norma Lee Bay

October 11, 1940 to June 30, 2012

WINAMAC - Norma Lee Bay, 71, of Winamac, died at 8:49 a.m., Saturday, June 30, at her residence in Winamac.

She was born Oct. 11, 1940, in Union, MO, to Philip and Anna Espowe Skornia. She married Bernard John "Bernie" Bay on June 10, 1961 in Washington, MO. He survives.

Mrs. Bay and her husband lived in Chicago, until moving to Winamac in 1999. She was retired from St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, where she worked in housekeeping. She attended St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac.She enjoyed gardening and walking her dog, Angel, in the Winamac Town Park. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Friends may call after 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m., (Wednesday, July 4), at the funeral home with Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to the Winamac Town Park.
