WINAMAC - Wayne Planck, 93, of Star City, died at 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, at the Pulaski Healthcare Center, Winamac.

He was born May 27, 1919, in Huntington, to the late Sylvester V. and Nella Clark Planck. He married Marie Abbott on July 10, 1939 in Star City/ She survives.

Mr. Planck was a farmer in the Star City area for many years. He also ran an excavation business for several years. He attended the Star City United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed camping, traveling and fishing. He took up woodworking following his retirement. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday (June 30), at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Mabry officiating. Burial will be in Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be given to Star City United Methodist Church.
