FRANCESVILLE - Charles J. Schuttrow, 68, of 613 S. Fleming Blvd., Rensselaer, died at 9:05 p.m., Friday, June 18, at the Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

He was born Nov. 4, 1941 in South Bend, to Gustave C. and Anna Marie DeGrove Schuttrow. He married Delores Gustin on June 15, 1968 in Medaryville, at St. Henry's Catholic Church. She survives.

Mr. Schuttrow was a member at St. Francis of Solano Catholic Church in Francesville. He had been a member of: The Associated Press Managing Editor Association - Reporting, Editing, and Writing Committee; Illinois Press Association; Illinois Soybean Association; American Soybean Association; Illinois Corngrower's Association; National Corngrower's Association; Ford-Iroquois Health Improvement Coaltion; and the Iroquois Memorial Hospital Home Health Advisory Board.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m., Monday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., followed by a scriptural wake service at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Francis of Solano Catholic Church, Francesville, Tuesday (June 22), at 11 a.m., with Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.

Memorial donations may be given to the Tyler William Roth Scholarship Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
