Josephine A. Speicher

November 3, 1920 to March 31, 2012

FRANCESVILLE - Josephine A. Speicher, 91, of Medaryville, passed away at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Lakeside, IN, to the late William Edward and Fairy Mae Michaels Horney. She married John P. Speicher on June 10, 1948, in Story City, Iowa. He passed away on April 22, 1998.

Mrs. Speicher was a member of Pleasant Ridge Bible Church, Francesville, where she was actively involved in music programs at the church. She had attended a business college and the Chicago Conservatory of Music. She was a piano teacher in the community for over 60 years. She had been an active member of the Francesville community her entire lifetime. She served as grand marshall of the Francesville Fall Festival in 2005. She also had been the president of the Pulaski County Heart Association. She also had been a leader of a local Pulaski Co. 4-H Club.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday (April 5), at the funerl home. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
