Stephanie Crissinger

March 31, 1978 to June 2, 2010

 

KEWANNA - Stephanie J. Crissinger, 32, of Kewanna, passed away at 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, after an illness with cancer.

Stephanie J. Crissinger, 32, of Kewanna, lost her courageous battle with cancer at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

Born March 31, 1978, in Phoenix, Ariz., she was the daughter of Ken and Mae Bartram Eastwood. She was a 1996 Rochester High School graduate. On Dec. 5, 1997, she married Keith D. Crissinger. He survives.

Also surviving are daughters Kennedy, Peyton and Torrie Crissinger, and parents Ken and Mae Eastwood, all of Kewanna; two sisters, Trina Doty and her husband, Brian, Kewanna, and Angie Blanchard and her husband, Chris, Rochester; brother Nick Eastwood, Kewanna; father- and mother-in-law, David and Elaine Crissinger, Winamac; and grandparents-in-law Tom and Arvilla Crissinger, Star City. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Elwin and Clarice Bartram and Don and Hazel Eastwood.

Mrs. Crissinger most recently worked at Caston School Corp. in the cafeteria, and she was happy to get to work so close to her daughters each day. She was also a member of the Church of the Heartland, Winamac.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel; and also one hour prior to the time of service Monday. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday (June 7) at  the funeral home. Pastor John Duhnovsky will officiate and burial will be in Citizens IOOF Cemetery, Kewanna.
