David C. Reutebuch

November 4, 1937 to January 11, 2012

WINAMAC -David Clarence Reutebuch, 74, of Star City, passed away at 3:20 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Logansport, to the late Clarence B. "Skeet" and Rubye F. Allen Reutebuch.

Mr. Reutebuch was a machinist for Galbreath Inc. and Whalon Machines. He retired in 2001. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Navy on aircraft carriers. He was a member of the VFW 1728 in Winamac, AMVETS in Monticello and the American Legion. He enjoyed collecting all types of machinary and hunting and fishing equipment. He liked to invent new things. He also enjoyed fishing.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday (Jan. 16), at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski, with Rev. Ronald Schiml officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery West, Pulaski. The VFW and American Lgion will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial donations may be given to American Heart Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
