FRANCESVILLE - James V. "Jim" Moncel, 59, of Carmel (formerly of Francesvile), died at 4:40 p.m., Friday, Nov. 25, at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Feb. 7, 1952, in Francesville, to the late Leo and Valera M. Buckles Moncel.

Survivors include:
Sara (Lou) Moonshower, Bloomington, Sister
Ellen (Lawrence) Schafer, Carmel, Sister
Gene Moncel, Bloomington, Brother
One Niece and One Nephew

Preceded in death by:
Mary Moncel, Sister

Mr. Moncel was a long-time resident of Francesville, but lived the last 13 years in Carmel. He had been a client of Janus Developmental Services, Inc. in Noblesville. He was a member of Hazel Dell Christian Church, Carmel.

Friends may call after 10 a.m., Tuesday, at First Christian Church, Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., (Tuesday, Nov. 29), at the church, with Pastor James Ketchen officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
