M. Louise Abbott

December 4, 1928 to November 24, 2011

WINAMAC - M. Louise Abbott, 82, of Winamac, formerly of Star City) died at 12:44 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 24,  at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born Dec. 4, 1928, in Royal Center, to the late Simon John and Anna Elizabeth Link Weaver. She married Robert G. "Bob" Abbott on June 24, 1948 in Pulaski. He died Sept. 21, 1995.

Paul L. (Missy) Abbott, Star City, Son & companion

She was preceded in death by:

Walter Weaver, Brother

Mrs. Abbott was a lifetime resident of Pulaski County. She as a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski and Women of the Moose #1684 in Rochester. She was also a member of the National League of Postmasters. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was a lifetime member of the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxillary. She was a member of the Friends of Pleasant View Rest Home and the Bunco Club.

She worked many years as a sales clerk at Miller's Department Store in Winamac. She also had worked at the Star City Post Office.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., (Saturday, Dec. 3), at the funeral home, with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be in Star City West Cemetery, Star City.

Memorial donations may be given to the Star City West Cemetery.
