Gregory M. Plowman

May 11, 1954 to May 13, 2025

WINAMAC - Gregory Mark “Greg” Plowman, 71, of Winamac, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 13, at his home.

He was born May 11, 1954 in Hammond, to Virgil R. and Doris J. (Keller-Horton) Plowman and attended school in Griffith. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1972 and served during the Vietnam War.

After returning home from service, he became a proud member of the Boilermakers Union Local #374 in Hammond. He retired in 2012. Greg was a talented cook and enjoyed the outdoors and riding motorcycles.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 24, at First Baptist Church in Winamac with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion and VFW. Private burial will be at Black Pond Cemetery in Oregon County, MO.
