Mrs. O'Donnell received her education at the University of Chicago. She had been employed at 1st Union Bank & Trust Company, Plymouth Tube, and Winamac Steel. She and her husband moved to Fayetteville in 1983 with Winamac Steel. She later worked at Superior Industries for 26 years. Because of her dedication to the people at Superior and her love for her job, she worked every day until the day before she entered hospice care.
This past summer, Carolyn and John invited the Heater and O'Donnell families to Ft. Morgan Beach, AL for a lovely time with her that all will remember. She loved living in Arkansas and was an avid University of Arkansas Razorback "Hogs" fan. Every Saturday during football season, she could be counted on to watch the "Hogs" (win or lose). She often watched the games with her two beloved dogs, Honey Girl and Chewbacca. She particularly enjoyed this year's victory over the Auburn University Tigers.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Friday (Nov. 25), at St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac, with Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating.
Memorial donations may be given to: Circle of Life Hospice (901 Jones Rd. Springdale, AR 72762).
