ROYAL CENTER - Margaret E. DePoy, 94 of Star City, passed away at 2:50 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.

Born Jan. 19, 1917 in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Arvilla (DeWitt) Dilts. On Feb. 26, 1938, she married Burlen DePoy. He preceded in death on Sept. 14, 1986.

Survivors include her son, Lee DePoy and wife Kathy of Royal Center; daughters, Barbra Lothamer and husband, Jim of Fort Wayne and Sherry Kough and husband, Joe of Star City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter.

Mrs. DePoy was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a former member of Church of Christ in Star City and later a member of the Church of Christ in Kewanna. She enjoyed growing flowers and quilting.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday (Nov. 13), at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Meneely officiating.
