KEWANNA - Brian S. Doty, 41, of Kewanna, died at 6:18 p.m., Nov. 8, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Born Jan. 20, 1970 in Winamac, he was the son of Michael W. and Betty Jo (Baldwin) Doty. On Jan. 21, 1995 he married Trina L. Eastwood. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Hunter S. Doty, Sydney B. Doty, Andrew B. Doty and Dawson J. Doty, all of Kewanna; his parents of Kewanna; brother, Todd M. Doty and his wife Cristi of Twelve Mile; mother- and father-in-law, Kenneth and Mae Eastwood, brother-in-law, Nick Eastwood and sister-in-law, Angie Blanchard and husband Chris, all of Kewanna; niece and nephews, Amber Esteban and husband Emmanuel, Quinton Doty and Keegan Doty, all of Twelve Mile.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles “Abie” and Ruby Baldwin and Ruth and William Doty and sister-in-law, Stephanie Crissinger.

Mr. Doty was a 1989 Winamac Community High School graduate. He formerly worked at Lobdell Emery in Argos as a press operator and welder. He also was formerly employed at the Braun Corporation in Winamac. He enjoyed deer hunting, mushroom hunting, fishing and most all spending time with his family.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., Sunday, at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Monday (Nov. 14), at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Howard officiating. Burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
