Carl M. Anspach

March 20, 1935 to August 2, 2024

WINAMAC - Carl M. Anspach, 89, of Winamac, passed away Friday, Aug. 2.

 He was born March 20, 1935 in Buffalo (IN), to the late Floyd M. and Clarisse M. [Jones] Anspach. He attended Winamac High School with the class of 1953 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-59. On March 16, 1958, he married Dorothy A. Good in Pulaski. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Anspach worked at NIPSCO for 32 years and retired at the age of 55. He was a member and past-president of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Reserve and Pulaski County REACT. He was also a 50-year member of the Royal Center Lodge #565 F&AM. He enjoyed volunteering at the Pulaski County Human Services Food Pantry and was an active member of the Friends of the Panhandle Pathway.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Masonic services will be at 9 a.m., (Aug. 10) at the funeral home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., (Aug. 10), also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery (Southlawn Addition). The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of the Panhandle Pathway or Pulaski County Human Services Food Pantry.
