In his younger years, Mr. Wayberg worked as a lumberjack in Michigan. He and his wife moved to Francesville in 1960 where he worked for Gordy Vollmer as a carpenter for several years. They moved to their home in Medaryville in 1963, and he began working as a truck driver - which became his life’s work. He was a hardworking man, and at age 81, he retired as an owner/operator of a successful trucking business. He was a member of the Knox Seventh-day Adventist Church where he served as an Elder. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
