The executive director search process focused on finding an individual to lead Pulaski County in developing resources to enhance the quality of life in the community today and tomorrow.
Building on the foundation’s 25-year history, the executive director will serve by continuing to develop the philanthropic culture and strengthen the community for the years ahead.
Wright’s experience makes her an ideal fit for the Community Foundation. Her career has focused on significance and service, as she has held several positions in the philanthropic community, most currently as a major gifts officer at Valparaiso University. Wright holds a BA and MFA from the University of Exeter (England) and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from North Park University (Chicago). She will graduate with an MBA from Valparaiso University in May 2023. Wright has also been named as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) by CFRE International, joining over 6,900 professionals around the world who hold the CFRE designation.
Wright will succeed Wendy Rose and begin her role as executive director on Aug. 15.
Rose will continue in a part-time role to oversee the Forward Thinking Leadership Initiative. The Community Foundation is delighted to welcome Ms. Wright back to the community along with husband Steven and daughter Nova Mae.
Community Foundation of Pulaski County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity and the philanthropic leader serving Pulaski County.
