“Any additional comments at this time would compromise the investigation, so we ask for the public's patience,” she said, adding that this situation is completely unrelated to the ongoing investigation into high school principal Jeremy Tucker.
Last month Winamac Community High School principal Jeremy Tucker was placed on paid administrative leave (on Jan. 24), due to allegations of misconduct. An internal investigation continues in that matter.
In the interim, Tucker's responsibilities have been covered by the school system's administrative team, Chezem said.
Eastern Pulaski School Corporation will release information it can as it becomes available.
