Kim Pickenshas been named vice president, chief retail officer. She directly oversees the office managers at Alliance Bank’s seven locations and the partnership with Alliance Financial Services. Pickens joined the bank in early 2017 as retail development officer. She has 34 years of industry experience in a variety of customer service and management roles over her career. She has completed numerous bank training programs.

Tanya Burtonhas accepted the position of senior vice president, chief operating officer and risk officer. Her career at the bank started as a part-time teller while she was in college. Over the past 26 years, Burton has served as bookkeeper, internal auditor, comptroller, electronic banking manager, and head of information services. In her expanded leadership role, she will provide oversight and direction to compliance, electronic banking, information technology and marketing. Burton is a graduate of Purdue University and Barret Graduate School of Banking.

Tara Garlingcelebrated her 15-year anniversary with Alliance Bank in December, at the same time she accepted the position of compliance officer for the institution. She has served clients from the bank’s Monon office as a teller, client consultant and office manager during her tenure with the bank.
