Each Friday the participants receive a Buddy Bag with nutritional items in it to help supplement their access to food during the weekend.
The various program aspects of "Warrior Up for Jesus – Fun and Food – Summer 2019" are held at Pulaski County Public Library or at First United Methodist Church, both in Winamac.
Earlier this spring, the Arrow Head Country RC&D (Resource Conservation & Development) council met in Winamac, to announce over $36,000 in grants to 13 groups from eight counties in the RC&D area.
Arrow Head Country RC&D has given over $270, 000 in grants during the past five years to all 10 member counties.
