Two additional speakers included a representative from the National Honey Board who gave an informative talk on “Honey’s Sweet Journey;" and Dr. Natalie Daily Federer, member of the Historical Society of Pulaski County, who gave a brief overview of Pulaski County.
Jan Gogel, state vice president, gave the IEHA Conference highlights and Ann Moore, state president elect, talked about the NVON Conference.
District minutes and treasurer reports were given by Shirley Jefferson, the district representative. Roll call was by Linda Massey, the district secretary/treasurer.
The Pulaski County Extension Homemakers provided breakfast sweets and a soup and salad bar luncheon for those attending. Cindy Saferight gave the state president’s message and Shirley Jefferson gave the final wrap up of the meeting.
Each person who attended received a goody bag from local businesses. Handmade table scarves and center pieces, made by some of the local Homemakers, were also given as door prizes before wishing everyone safe travels home.
